WILLIAM THOMAS
BACKGROUND BIO
William Thomas is an award-winning
investigative reporter with more than 30 years’ experience reporting
on stories ranging from the turbulent ‘Sixties
to Desert Storm, 911 and the current war on terror.
A former pilot, blue
water sailor and emergency response team member who
served five months in the Gulf during
and immediately after Desert Storm, William Thomas
speaks with the depth of authority that challenges
conventional beliefs - while inspiring trust and respect.
Named by Time magazine as Art Bell’s most popular
talk-show guest, William Thomas offers cogent, documented
facts and insights into some of the biggest “under-reported” stories
of our times.
Author of the first fully-documented
book on Gulf War Illness and the secret bio-chemical
war in the
Persian Gulf, Thomas’ personal experiences in
the heavily mined hell fires of Kuwait resulted in
a gripping half-hour documentary film. “Eco War” won
the 1991 US Environmental Film Festival Award. Segments
have aired on CNN, NBC and the CBC.
His other books include Scorched Earth, Bringing The
War Home, Alt. Health and Chemtrails Confirmed.

Why did America’s air defenders
fly slower than the airliners they were supposedly
chasing on
Sept.
11, 2001?
William Thomas’ recent book,
All Fall Down: The Politics of Terror and Mass Persuasion
remains
one of the most thoroughly documented reports on
the agents and agendas behind the terror attacks
of Sept.
11, 2001.
Now, this veteran reporter is again
making radio waves with his latest offering: Stand
Down: Why America’s
Defenses Failed on Sept. 11. This two-hour audio
book includes actual clips of the hijackers and air-traffic
controllers, as well as rescue responders and horrified
onlookers at the WTC.
Pointing to corroborating eyewitnesses
and impeccable mainstream sources, Thomas takes issue
with the 911
Commission’s recent findings on US air defenses
that did not “falter” but catastrophically
failed. His copy of NORAD’s own Sept. 18, 2001
news release - available online at www.willthomas.net
- shows that interceptors launched late from distant
bases to defend the US east coast flew at one-quarter
to one-third their top speeds…while nearby fighters
already in the air three-minutes from Manhattan were
never ordered to intervene.
Why were two “ready alert” anti-terrorist
jets routinely flown from Andrews Air Force Base to
check out errant airliners never launched to guard
the Pentagon just 10 miles away? Why could none of
the named Islamic suicide pilots fly even a sedate
Cessna? Why did FL 93 come down in two places in Pennsylvania?
Who ordered a national air defense drill that morning
that pointed US defenders looking north over the Pole
for a nonexistent Soviet threat? And why didn’t
the 911 Commission ask any of these questions?
You and your call-in listeners can ask William Thomas
on-air.
His careful, calmly delivered answers may surprise
you.
